I don’t think it’s fair that girls can constantly talk about how they wish guys would treat them like fucking princesses. Yes, there is such a thing as being a gentleman, but they don’t have to adorn you head to foot with items, and they shouldn’t be expected to know what you’re thinking all the time.
Girls should treat guys just as well, if not the same. There are a lot of guys out there who are perfectly amazing, but get shit for not being a knight in goddamned armor of gold.
It just kind of bothers me :x
Yes, I’m going to use my boyfriend as an example - now:
He’s near perfect in my eyes; cooks for me, compliments me, but he doesn’t get me much. When he does, though, it means a lot for various reasons, but not because I expect things from him. For him, I would sew a fucking sweater out of my hair, but that is both creep and unnecessary. So, I make him what I can, when I want to make him something. Which is often, but that’s not the point.
The point is that I do not expect him to get me things, especially buy them. Though I appreciate it, it is not necessary.
And no, he doesn’t know what I’m thinking all of the time, but I don’t expect him to. Honestly, I would rather he didn’t sometimes.
I would just prefer girls to stop thinking they can assume men in these positions of god like beings, when they’re just human. It’s okay to be lenient.
